Positive Parenting Resources You Need to Master Parenting

One of my favorite secrets to share with my clients is that positive parenting has very little to do with your child’s behavior, and everything to do with your behavior. It’s about demonstrating the desired behavior and teaching your child the skills they need to thrive. So here I’m sharing my favorite courses and apps that support your positive parenting journey. These positive parenting resources can simplify your life and make parenting easier.

Kids Cook Real Food

A huge part of positive parenting is empowering your kids to do things for themselves. Fostering this sense of independence will alleviate your burden as a mom, and it will teach them life skills that they’ll use for the rest of their lives. And one of the best investments you can make is spending time teaching your kids their way around a kitchen.

I love the courses offered by Kids Cook Real Food because it encourages healthy cooking and fosters a healthy relationship with food. You’ll find independent cooking classes, family courses, and even cooking challenges your kids can try. Check out what they have to offer here.

Apps

Bark

Screen time is an issue for modern families. It’s associated with anxiety, depression, poor academic performance, and even impared brain development. Maintain control over your child’s screen time, especially social media, with the best parental monitoring app on the market: Bark.

You’ll be able to control screen time, monitor browsing history, keep tabs on their text messaging, and even keep track of their physical location. It will give you great peace of mind. And since we’ve partnered with Bark, you can use our code to get $20 off your subscription (coupon code: WITHHOLLY).

If you want to know all the details of this app, you can find my honest review as a mom who uses it here.

If you’re ready to try it with the extra $20 off, click here!

Cozi

Moms need to be organized, especially as kids get older and start enrolling in activities. My absolute favorite mom app is COZI, the digital family calendar. It allows everyone to have their own login, and each individually can be responsible for their own schedule. But everyone can see the family schedule, add to shopping lists, and more!

The basic version is TOTALLY FREE, and most families won’t need to upgrade. But there are some advanced features in the premium version that are nice to have. Download it now to see if it’s a good fit for your family!

The Bottom Line

So many things impact your parenting! It’s great to learn new parenting strategies, but you have to have all your ducks in a row to feel like a truly successful parent. Use these positive parenting resources to set yourself up for success.
